Judy and her husband Bob moved to Florida from NJ in 1998 and Judy has enjoyed being able to devote more time to the art of watercolor. Whether a marine scene or a floral, her paintings are filled with rich color and an underlying glow.
She is a member of the Vero Beach Art Club, the Art Associates of Martin County, the Jensen Beach Art League, the Palm Beach Watercolor Society and a Signature Member in the Florida Watercolor Society.
She was accepted for the seventh time into the "Annual Four-County Juried Show" at the Backus Museum and Gallery in Ft. Pierce, Fl.,winning awards there five times. Her work has also been accepted for the forth time into the Florida Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition, and for the first time into the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society Annual Juried Exhibition, where she won an award.In addition, the Palm Beach Watercolor Society just awarded her a First Place in their Annual Juried Exhibition.
Judy studied with well-known local artist Betty Komarisky and has taken numerous workshops with artists including Jean Grastorf, Jean Uhl Spicer, Carol Staub, Dan Mallardi, Terry Madden and Norma DeSantis. She is currently studying with Palm City artist Karen Leffel-Massengill.
Her paintings hang in many private collections, and may also be seen at "Tropic Art and Frame" in Vero Beach. Inquiries are welcomed.
